Tominator
i'll never own one, i'm completely happy with my Benelli, but if i were to have one, the bottom ejection would be a huge plus for me. my ithaca has the bottom eject, and i like that better than the Remington side eject. carbonhunter
Re: The new BPS i had one in 28 guage a few years ago. It was a nice gun and shot well enough, but i had it jam three differant times on me. I took it to a smitty around here who used to be the offical browning smith. He couldnt fix the problem so i traded it in on a 28 gauge red label. I hear great things about them, but i also hear some bad so i have staid away from them since. I love that bottom eject though. Have you tried 3 in shells through it yet?
Shaun_300
Re: The new BPS Thats good to hear about the BPS, I own a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga with a 26" barrel, i havent tried a bottom ejection gun yet though
smallmunster
Re: The new BPS I've owned a 12 ga BPS for about 15 years as have my uncle and brother and have been fairly pleased with them. They are not as smooth as an 870 but if kept properly maintained are very nice guns. I have found that they will jam if they get really dirty, but a good cleaning takes care of it. I also learned to not take out the top pin in the receiver as it is really hard to get back in. The bottom one will take out the trigger assembly, the top I leave alone. That was the last season Im hunting with it, Dad died and I want to pass that gun on to my son in the same shape it is in now. BPS is more than a shotgun to me.
