need2hunt
I was looking through a hunting magazine today and saw an ad for some broadheads (I won't say name or brand). Anyway they had an interesting little blurb down towards the bottom that I guess i don't appreciate at all, what's your take on it? [ QUOTE ] ...our broadheads typically add 20 yards to your ethical shooting range [/ QUOTE ]
Tominator
Re: Interesting Advertising Totally agree Gary. IMHO, only the archer himself/herself can add 20 yards.

[ QUOTE ] ...our broadheads typically add 20 yards to your ethical shooting range [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Ok...how many non experienced hunters using these bh's are gonna be winging arrows 50 or 60 yards at deer! After all it said it added 20 yards, and it does it ethically! How can they get away with making a statement like that. I hope it's not the brand broadhead I am using! Ohiobucks
Re: Interesting Advertising I saw the same ad Gary. Not the best advertising decision for them, IMO. Doesn't make me want to buy them, that is for sure.

Rhino
Re: Interesting Advertising Good ol false advertising. That's enough to make me not consider buying any products associated with that company. I'll have to look for the ad Gary to ID the cluprit. puffy
Re: Interesting Advertising I haven't seen this ad as yet, but it sounds like they need a new advertising agency at the very least. Not a sound way to advertise a new product for sure.
