robk
Re: which bullet to you shoot? iam back shooting my powerbelts. i shot the shockwaves or sst's and my better groups came from the one i started out with and am back to shooting my powerbelts. i know what they are going to do ao if it ain't broke i am not changin it. i learned that pretty quick. shooting 1 inch groups at a 100 with the first two touching so that is very acceptable to me and well worth my confidence factor rob k

In my T/C Black Diamond, which I havent taken hunting yet, I've received acceptable accuracy with 245 grain HP Powerbelts & "777" powder. borch
Re: which bullet to you shoot? For me it's the 295 powerbelt HP with 100 gr 777 pellets. I get 1.5-2" groups at 100 yards. Plus these bullets do quite a job on deer sized game. Borch

RangerClay
Re: which bullet to you shoot? I shoot .50 cal. 348 gr. Powerbelts. Used to use T/C Maxiballs but switched to these. I like the big bullet for more knockdown power at close range. I would use a smaller one like a 295 if you plan on shooting over 100 yards. Guest gt2003
Re: which bullet to you shoot? I used to shoot 300 grain Hornady xtp's with 90 grains pyrodex in my knight wolverine. They shot great groups but didn't do the job for me on deer. AJ told me about Precision Rifle bullets and man am I impressed. The deer I shot with the XTP's ran forever and ever. I shot a 5pt. Monday with the p.r. bullet (220 grain dead center) and 100 grains of 777 powder. He dropped in his tracks. The entrance wound was probably 2 inches wide by 4-5 inches long. It was incredible. I almost gave up muzzleloading before this year. Now I'm thinking of using my ML during rifle season just to see what it'll do with this bullet at different distances. Swamphunter
Re: which bullet to you shoot? I just started shooting the powerbelts and will never shoot roundball again out of my inline. I have killed a lot of deer with the round balls, but never got very consistant accuracy. I tried the TC Maxihunters and had the same accuracy as the round ball. Powerbelts for me!
