Took this one from a blind at sunrise, the morning sun reflecting off of the dew on the grass kind of gave it a neat look.

Re: Still Camera Entries

Here is my entry for the photo contest. I had a hard time deciding which one to pick. I chose this one. It is a photo taken while camping along the South Saskatchewan River. I had a lantern inside the tent to light it up. The photo was taken shortly after sunset. The first star of the night was shining and can be seen in the upper portion of the photo near the center. The camera settings were aperture of f/20 shutter speed of 2.5 seconds and the lens was at 17mm.

Re: Still Camera Entries

I took this photo last year during hunting season. I was kind of surprised to see these little guys sitting on the fence, beside my blind, especially so late in the year. I had to crawl over to get close enough for a good picture. There were around 5 of them lined up on the fence, but these two looked kind of cuddly grin.gif

Re: Still Camera Entries

Once again, a real nice bunch of pictures. Very enjoyable, folks.

I just got back home from 3 weeks in the bush, so I guess I better get cracking and submit an entry.

This one I took several years ago. There was a split whitetail season, the first part lasting until the end of October and the second part commencing November 7. So guess when I ran into this guy - during the closed week.

Duckies, duckies everywhere! The one duckling in the bottom left corner just hatched out as they all begin their life out of the shell smile.gif Took this photo in June.

In case this photo becomes blurry, it was perfectly clear when I downloaded/posted it. I have noticed other entrants' photos turning kind of blurry also.
