markyj987
Just found out yesterday the land I hunt is for the first time going to have a T-Zone antlerless gun hunt in October. I'm so pumped up about that... Ideal scenario: Hunt my butt off for four days for a big fat doe. Once I have meat in the freezer come November, I can really enjoy it without the pressure. To make it even better, sluggunner's food plots are REALLY taking off this year...there are going to be some big deer this fall! It's amazing how that news has erased the painful memory of my terrible season last fall! lol

Squirrelhunter91
Re: Woohoo! T-Zone baby! Congrats! I have no idea what a T-Zone is but one of the areas we shotgun hunt is going to have antler restrictions this year, 3 on one side.

[/ QUOTE ] T-Zones are areas of heavy deer population where a few days before and after the regular gun season there is an antlerless-only hunt. It basically doubles the amount of time we have to hunt. End of October is when the first T-zone hunt is...regular season is the end of November...and I think the other T-zone hunt is in mid-December--but have to check on that. I hope to have some deer jerky already made by the time the regular season starts...lol
RangerClay
Re: Woohoo! T-Zone baby! I love hunting on doe days. The racks are nice but I have more fun when there is no pressure to look for horns. Ranger
