Guest Xen
so, out of curiosity, what are your opinions in regards to "slipping somebody a hot load" as a practical joke? my thoughts are more along the lines of, well, couldn't that be dangerous? i know that just about everybody has stories about people they knew or it may even involve them where they were, for some reason or another, careless with a firearm or trying to play a joke and something went horribly wrong. do you think slipping somebody a hot load could be considered dangerous and do you think it is ever a good time to joke around when it involves a firearm? this isn't an attack or flame, i'm really just curious how people feel about this. Washi
Re: hot loads? Bad idea. Someone gave my brother a box of .30-06 shells that were hot. He only shot one and the scope hit him in the nose and broke a little chip out of the bone. He gave them to his boss who hadn't paid him in two weeks because he was busy drinking all the businesses profits.
hangunnr
Re: hot loads? It's pretty much my opinion that if someone is willing to play games with loaded firearms that they aren't mature enough to own them. If someone pulled that on me it would be the last time I would shoot with them... hangunnr

Somebody who wants to play games that could have catastrophic results needs a slap up along side the head. It'd be darn funny to slip a "hot one" to someone and have his gun CATO in his face, now wouldn't it?? Hey.........maybe we could snip his brake lines before he drives home, too??
