Guest tyshe17
Re: releases I would shoot any single jaw release, bc it makes the string come out of the release the same way every time. Scott makes a # of options like this. Personally I shoot the little goose, but a lot of people I know go for the little bitty goose.

Strut10
Re: releases Love my Scott Calipers!! Simple and adjustable so I can get 'em just the way I like 'em!! The other thing is Scott's service. A loaded log truck (40 tons) ran smack over one of my releases one time........don't ask how........it just happened. All it did was broke the trigger off. I sent it back to Scott. They fixed it immediately and sent it back. Inside there was a handwritten letter saying "Installed new trigger. Send us $15 if you want." I'm a Scott man for life!! HarvDog
Re: releases [ QUOTE ] I'm using an older "borrowed" (thanks madhuntinpastor) Tru Fire release right now. Trying to determine if I would prefer the trigger or relax release method. So...I may pick up a Tru Fire X-Caliper which can be adjusted for pull or relax firing. [/ QUOTE ] Just picked up an X-Capiler. I'll let you know how I like it.
