Snipe
The type of grinder you are looking for depends on your budget, and how often you will use it.. You can spend as little as $30 for a hand grinder up to $500 for a electric... I have one that cost me $199 + tax from Northern Tool. It has ground up everything I have put in it with no problems.. So if you are going to use it just for grinding meat to make jerky I would get the $99 one from like wal-mart ...But if you plan on getting serious using it spend the cash..You wont be sorry... deershed
Re: Jerky Before you invest in any grinders you should take some venison to your butcher and have him grind it up for you.Try making some jerky from the ground meat before you committ to a grinder. I think there's a night and day difference between the two different methods of making jerky and how they taste. You can dry jerky made from cut meat in oven too. Just my thought.
