Hillbilly
I seen a couple on my dogdoc's homemade mineral lick. He was a decent buck. Probably a good 4 year old buck. His rack looks like it'll be wide, and his brow tines might be pretty thick. Gonna shoot my bow pretty soon and then buy me the new SwitchBack. Hope everyone is getting that fall fever even though it temps are hot and humid.

AJ
Re: Has anyone seen any velvet bucks yet???? My Honey and I took a ride through Manassas Battlefield this past Saturday evening about a half hour before dark. I counted 6 very nice bucks that were easily seen about 150-200 yards away with naked eye while we were driving 45 mph. Saw 30 or so deer total. At noon i saw a very mature buck, that would probably score in the 140 range right now. To bad this wasn't on my property. I was kicking my self because i didn't have my camera. I drove past him on the atv at 60 yards. Thought it was a doe at first. He had a grand total of about 6 inches of total antler. lol.

elkoholic
Re: Has anyone seen any velvet bucks yet???? I have seen more buck this spring than any other year that I can remember. Several that are headed towards true monster buck status. In one day last week I saw four buck that should exceed 150 inches. The trick is getting them on film. Here are a couple of pics of a good lucking young buck we encountered while taking a short ride just a few days ago and another of a young buck caught by my trail cam two days ago. The bigger buck pics were blown up a bit and the quality suffered. Overall I have seen over 100 different buck this spring. You gotta love it.
