Longest shot ever was at a groundhog...just a touch over 500 yards with my .22-250. My scope has a built in range finder and the target turet only goes to 500yds. Hit her in the heart resting the horizontal crosshairs on her back. I had the bullet trajectory printed out really small and taped on the inside of my scope cover. Or at least I judged it and put the 50 yd pin on it and nailed it behind the shoulder. That was my 1st year bowhunting. Had a couple 40+.
