tedicast
Re: drop away rest I am using the Vital Bow Gear, Utimate FallAway rest. I love it! It is extremely well made and trouble free. If you are serious about a drop-away, do yourself a favor, and check one of these out. Here is a link to a thred on the Mathews forums about these rests. VBG rests Scottyluck is my brother. Guest tyshe17
Re: drop away rest besides the weight, and obviously the money I like the muzzy zero effect. quiet and reliable...however, I dont hunt with one because I am just too afraid that something will mess up on that moment of truth
VtBowhunter
Re: drop away rest I've shot several drop away rests and the TrophyRidge DropZone is the best I've found by far. If you're not 100% sold on them yet, just put one on your bow and shoot it a few times and you will be.
Jeramie
Re: drop away rest Im shooting a Cheap'O quicktune. I love it. I needed to do some serious tunning, I put on the drop away and bam, my arrows were flying 100% true. It was a great choice....

6sixpoint_nobrows
Re: drop away rest jeramie, do you mean you had to do some serious tuning before you put on the drop away, and the drop away corrected it, or you had to do some serious tuning once you put the drop away on....also how mnay of you guys had to re-sight-in your bow? Smitteken
Re: drop away rest jeramie, Is the quicktune an actual drop away? Does it hold your arrow on like the others?

GWSmith
Re: drop away rest Muzzy Zero Effect here... I love it with the combination of right helical fletching and the Magnock system its awesome!!! I had the rest on already but...Yes I had to resight my bow after switching from straight fletching and regular nocks. I shot at the first target @ 20 yards and hit a little high...forgot to reset the quick slide sight from the little competition that me and the wife had @10 yards. Thats right...the pin was set for the 10 yard target and the difference came from the change in fletching and the Magnock system. The rest had Zero effect alright...the arrow flew without any interference....I love my Zero Effect!!!!!!!

Bow Hunter Derek
Re: drop away rest I am a huge Whisker Biscuit fan. That is my hunting bow rest. However, on my target bow, I have a Q.A.D. fall away rest. I've been shooting it for about 5 months now and I'm liking it more and more each time I shoot. I was not big on fall aways for a long time, but I find myself rethinking the concept. I can't speak for any of the other designs, but the Q.A.D. is sweet. I really like the full containment aspect of the rest for a hunting situation.

I may look at one this weekend. [/ QUOTE ] If you look at one you will buy it! ( and you won't be sorry) I have shot the VBG, and the Trophy taker side by side. The TT was taken off the bow that night, and replaced with a VBG Ultimate FallAway. There is no comparison in the quality of the 2 rests. Look at them side be side. You will see the difference.
