dodge4x4 Posted June 30, 2005 Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 My uncle works at the prison here and one of his buddies who I know too was tellin him this story that happened to his son and his son's girlfriend. They were both out at the farm and the son was riding the tractor mowing. His girlfriend had been out riding his 4 wheeler all day. She passed him on the tractor, waved and smiled, and went on down the lane. About 10 minutes later he looked up to see her walking/hobbling down the road with out the 4 wheeler in sight. He got off and walked the 1/4 mile to her. When he was within 50 yards she hollered to him that the 4 wheeler was alright and not to be mad. When he got within 5 yards he got sick quickly. He looked at her right arm....and it came down about 3 inches from the shoulder and turned in and went straight across her chest to her other arm. Her elbow was located at about the left side of her chest. At this time the son threw up and then told her they had to go to the hospital She blacked out and can't remember what happend that made her crash, and no one else witnessed it. She did suffer some other injuries like concussion, sprained body parts, and other things. She is doing better but it still in a lot of pain. A small prayer would be nice yall. Thanks! Ravin R10 man Posted June 30, 2005 Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 Re: Bad ATV accident...preyers needed WE JUST HAD A YOUNG TEENAGE BOY GO ACROSS A STATE HIGHWAY WITHOUT STOPPING....GOT HIT BY A DUMP TRUCK.....crushed his pelvis and leg..got thrown onto the highway..had a helmet on, so he will live to tell about it...had to airlift him to Duluth Mn. for surgury Lil Blonde must ride in Low speed only, and thats plenty fast for trail riding, and only with her helmet on! Thank the Lord though she was not injured more seriously. A few weeks ago while in the Adirondacks, a 50 yr. old was killed on his ATV in the town where my college's Adirondack campus is.
