toufie worms!!! get all you can and put them in a ziplock bag with water and freez them for other days when you cant find them. the water will keep there color. great catfishing bait. i use them at pay lakes. those farm raised cats love them.

My catalpa worms have all gone under ground already. ( We say "ca-tobbler" worms ) I don't like touching them cause they are VERY sticky.

And the old timers around here will actually tell you to turn your worm INSIDE OUT before you put it on the hook. WHATEVER!! They are excellent bait though. Catfish eat them, so does everything else with fins. cool.gif

Yep, Catalpa worms, when/if we can ever find them we usually put them in a container w/some Catalpa leaves (to keep them alive). We have always used the "turn them inside out" method, seems to work the best. Have any of you ever used the "Catalpa Worm Past" you can buy in the plastic tube? It don't work nearly as well as the real thing!
