I didn't get the moose tag I was wanting but I did draw a mountian goat tag for a really good unit in the area I live. Looks like I'm gonna be scouting out the billys this summer. God's Country------I love it. When are your going? Hope he has a good coat. If I had to do it again I would get a half mount showing off those pantaloons !! I shot mine here in Colorado. He slide down a long avalanche chute---breaking both horns off & scaring uyp his nose. Still a beautiful mount & a hard eaned trophy. Have an early season muley hunt planned with my ol' man in Sept so I probably won't start getting too serious about goat hunting until Oct. I can then kill 2 birds with one stone and hunt for the elusive immature (spike/fork) bull moose during the general season. I've had goat draws several times but have never really put much effort into the hutn. This year is going to be different. I really WANT one now.
