VTbowman
I never liked a quiver on either but do you think it may of been it being a 60 yard shot??? Seems a bit long but thats JMO. I hear ya on the quiver thingy though....
dogdoc
Re: blame it on the quiver yep---I agree--I think the 60 yard shot had a little more to do with it than the quiver. I never hunt with a quiver either unless I'm stalking--I remove it when I get into the tree stand. However, I have shot with it on a bunch when target practicing and can't really tell a difference. Do you consistently practice at 60 yards in a hunting situation? If not then you need to re-read your signature maybe next time! todd
tedicast
Re: blame it on the quiver I never shoot with my quiver on. if i was gonna be stalking, I would buy a back pack quiver. I agree with VTbowman, for me personally I would never even consdier a 60 yard shot. Better to have seen a deer that would have made the books, then to have the memory of making a bad shot at 60 yards, and not being able to recover it. Tominator
Re: blame it on the quiver Good story. The buck I missed last year still haunts me. Still can't believe I missed such an easy shot.
Tony
Re: blame it on the quiver its pretty simple guys practice like you will hunt... if you want to stalk then practice with your quiver on.. if you like it off then go that route.. as for the 60 yard shot , take whatever shot you feel you have confidance in making.. out west the bowhunters do shoot a lot farther than us eastern guys do..
