ILSNIPER1
Hello all, If anyone is in the market for a new spincast reel I would highly recomend you take a look at the new Zebco OMEGA Z03, I bought one about a month ago (I don't like bait casters & got tired of the line twist w/spinning reels) & it's an awesome reel. I read a couple of good reviews online & thought I would give it a try. I just love it! It took about 1-2 weeks of use to break it in (kind of stiff at first) but, now it's as smooth as any spinning reel I have ever owned. I haven't hooked into any big lunkers with it yet (just the average 2-3lb bass so far) but, I'm positive it would get-er-done! lol I think with a good monthly cleaning it will last for years w/no problem! If you want to check it out here's the link. Zebco Pro Spincast OMEGA Z03 Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up. I'm planning on buying a second one here soon, one for the good old plastic worm's & one for topwater, never can have to many rigs on hand! Later, Phil B. ILSNIPER1
Re: New Spincast Reel. Trust me.. It's not you average spincast reel! I keep waiting for someone to ask me why I'm using a cheap spincast reel. lol I'll bet it's built better than a lot of Baitcasters & Spinning reels in the same price range & even a little more! I know most fishermen would laugh at the thought of using a "cheap" spincast reel but, it's a very nice reel. I have been a die hard bass fisherman for years & just got SICK of the problems I was having w/spinning reels & just wanted something that WORKED & I didn't have to spend half my time pulling out birds nest caused from line twist. I have tried all of the $$$ spinning reels that are supposed to have anti twist.. they twist line too! It works.. & that's all I care about!! Later, Phil B. horst
Re: New Spincast Reel. My son started fishing northerns with me last year, he couldnt quite get the hang of a spnning reel and a baitcaster was outta the question where we fish because of the backlashes when hooking rocks, trees etc...I bought him a Zebco 303 and was really impressed with it, i even bought myself one for walleye fishing.Ill check these out, my daughter wants a new rod and reel set up.
