Squirrelhunter91
Ok.. I'm in the market for a new gun again. This gun will be my Varmint gun therefore I want it in a Varmint Caliber such as .223 or 22-250 or maybe .204 Preferably 22-250.... I was looking at H & R single shot rifles, but I cannot find a dealer close to me... I do not want it to be a bolt or a semi-auto unless I could get it for the same price as a single shot. My theory is that all I need is one shot and I should be good. Any suggestions as to how much a single shot 22-250 would cost?
gitcha_some
Re: Single-Shot 22-250 my cousin and I went on a groundhog shoot about two weeks ago with a .204 and a .22-250.....both will get the job done at impressive ranges....my cousin absolutely rolled a standing groundhog at 370 yards with his .22-250 ...it was a really pretty shot...but the exit wound wasnt as pretty LOL
AJ
Re: Single-Shot 22-250 The Handi Rifles will run between $190 and $250 depending on the model.
johnf
Re: Single-Shot 22-250 I don't know about up there, but you can special order a handi rifle at Wal-Mart for $199. Go to the sporting goods desk and ask to see the special order gun book. It's pretty easy after that and ususally takes about 10 days or less to get a gun in from the manufacturer.
