Bond
I got 24 pictures of these ugly things, was kinda hoping for another hawk but oh, well. I'm kinda dissapointed with the quality, I used my photohunter with a plastic shutter window instead of one of my digitals. Some great pictures, just kinda cloudy. Do you think it's worth it to try it again with a digital? I've got plenty of dead raccoons.
dogdoc
Re: Wanna see something gross? When I was in vet school the local ranger brought one in that had been injured--broken wing. We ended up putting it to sleep and man--that bird stunk so BAD! cool pics though todd

Adjam5
Re: Wanna see something gross? Where do those birds fall under as far as game? Are they considered birds of prey? To have one of them mounted would be cool. I'd put it over my bed That'll make ya get out of bed!
buckee
Re: Wanna see something gross? [ QUOTE ] Where do those birds fall under as far as game? [/ QUOTE ] Shooting a Turkey Vulture is equivalent to shooting a hawk, owl or eagle. Don't even think about it. And besides, they are the smelliest birds in all of God's creation . I picked up a vultures wing feather one time and it took me all day, just to get the stench out of my nostrils
