wtnhunt
Re: Z71 Not sure on the newer body style. I think 31's should fit. They did on my 92 model.

[/ QUOTE ] Also the inside corners of the bumpers. It allows the tires to turn in that direction without rubbing. I had to do it with a 3" body lift, I'm sure you'll have to with a 1" body lift as well.
Guest 2500HD
Re: Z71 Your Z-71 should have come stock with 31's (265/75/16) and you can easily put 33's (285/75/16) on the stock rims with only minimal torsion bar cranking. If you have a 1" bl then there should be no problems at all. Its when you get into the after market wheels when you run into problems. You need to watch your back spacing on them and make sure you do not go under 4.5" of BS or they will stick out too far and rub. 285's.....people do it everyday! MUDRUNNER
Re: Z71 285'S WILL FIT EVEN WITHOUT A BODY LIFT.I DIDNT KNOW THEY MADE A 1" BODY LIFT.THATS A LOT OF WORK FOR 1" OF LIFT.I WOULD PUT ON A 2 OR 3" AND SOME 305 TIRES.CHICKS DIG BIG TRUCKS!!
