ultratec1
A good thing to do is buy something that fits you. The longer axle to axle, the more forgiving it will be compared to a shorter ATA. The Pro-tec has the delfex riser that is a little more forgiving than the reflex. Right now I'm shooting a 2004 X-tec for my 3-D bow because this is what I will use for hunting season. However I also have a Ultra-tec that I use for indoor and I love them both for diffrent reasons. Go to your local pro shop and shoot the bows that you are in interested in and see what one feels good to you.
Tony
Re: Hoyt vtech, ultra tech,xtech,pro-tech,vipertech? im the do same as ultratec 1 suggested... i shoot the 05 camo Ultratec for 3d because its what im going to use for hunting .. but i also shoot a 03 flame Protec for indoor and field shoots.. actually i cant tell the differance between the 2 right now.. they both shoot very well when i do my part.. draw length and draw weight are more important than just getting a Hoyt .. please choose your rig wisely.. list what you want the bow to do . then choose.. like are you going to just hunt or 3D and hunt or maybe some indoor target .. the Ultratec and Protec are probably best for all 3 of these...
