VABuckSlayer
My neighbor and I went after some big James River Blue Cats last Friday night but only managed this one and some really small ones. This one weighed 26 lbs. and was 34" long. The fishing was slow that night. Hopefully we'll do better next time. Eric

VABuckSlayer
Re: James River Blue Cat Muggs, We caught it on fresh cut Ailwive. We use a cast net to catch our bait before we go out. Always use fresh bait to catch the big boys! (We use whole shad too.) Eric

I know it holds some big shovelheads, I'm not really sure how many Blues, if any, are there for the taking?
