VtBowhunter
Was at a club shoot this weekend and had my 7 year old son with me. We were shooting with a couple friends of mine. Everytime Dakota would shoot he'ld be off to the left. Well he shoots instictive so I knew there was no issue with sights being off. Towards the end of the shoot I was standing behind him and noticed that when he drew he was leaning his head over the string a bit more then anyone should and the arrow was still aimed to the left. When we got mack into the shop I did the dominant eye test with him several times and found the problem.........he was shooting right handed and he's left eye dominant. I don't know how I could have missed that in the past. He's all excited now because he knows that dad now has to get him a new left handed bow, lol. Guess I'll start searching now. If anyone knows of a good youth bow please feel free to put your 2 cents in. Right now I'm leaning towards the Genesis Pro for him.

VtBowhunter
Re: D\'OH!!!!!!!! Captain Obvious, LOL It was pretty easy to miss since he doesn't get to shoot a lot (I'm on the road quite a bit) and he's only 7 years old.
