Guest tyshe17
Having recently picked up shooting 3d tourneys to get ready for the season...I have found I pick a spot better on 3d targets than my Block...anyone else have this happen? billkay
Re: one more thing No, could just be a matter of concentration. Shooting at the block at home allows a lot of distractions. Shooting in a tournie forces you to concentrate.
Tony
Re: one more thing the main reason is that you are aiming at a circle on the block.. on the 3d targets you are just aiming at a spot ... the reason why this happens is that most shooters tend to over aim when shooting at circle targets .. overaiming is trying to hard to put that little pin in the perfect center of the circle.. then pulling the trigger to get the arrow to hit that spot.. on a 3d target your are more relaxed and allowing the pin to just float on the spot you want to hit.. you must learn to relax on circle targets and allow the pin to float just like a 3d target..
