Guest andymansavage
Took the little ruger out rabbit hunting, what a straight shooter this gun is. Hit rabbits from 10 - 30 yards on the run. Anyone else shoot these? Andy
hangunnr
Re: Ruger mark I meets jackrabbits Have had several Ruger semi 22's over the years. They are decent little guns for sure. It's illegal to shoot rabbits here this time of year. Our season isn't open till fall. Is there open season on rabbits there in Utah? hangunnr
Guest andymansavage
Re: Ruger mark I meets jackrabbits You can't hunt cottontails right now, but jackrabbits are always fair game. Andy
AJ
Re: Ruger mark I meets jackrabbits Yep, I also enjoy the Ruger s/a rimfires. I have a tweaked out 22/45 that is a very fun gun. I miss the days of shooting jackrabbbits. Yep, out west they are varmints. We used to scan the hillsides looking for ears next to a bush. Did many of a spot-n-stalk, or just frag them from long range with the varmint guns.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Ruger mark I meets jackrabbits I've got a Mark I with the 5 1/2 (or is it 5 and something eighths?) target barrell and it will outshoot my Mark II with the longer target barrell every time. I've dusted a few rabbito's with it over the years.
