Swamphunter
Re: stand snacks I don't take anything in the woods with me. I sometimes bring jerky in the truck though for when the hunt is over, or when we change locations.
Guest cornbread
Re: stand snacks Little Debbie oatmeal cream pies. When it is real cold I have a flecce muff that i keep a couple of hand warmers in, and I like to put the oatmeal pie inbetween a couple of hand warmers and in about 15 min you have oatmeal pies that taste like they just came out of the oven. I like to call it a muff oven. Try it they are great.

Hillbilly
Re: stand snacks I don't have any kids, so most of my snacks are healthy snacks. I like to take Almonds and a subway sandwich. Footlong Turkey on wheat, with pepper jack cheese, green peppers, and anything else that sounds good to me.

RangerClay
Re: stand snacks [ QUOTE ] I just call Dominos, they deliver in 30 minutes or less. just kiddin [/ QUOTE ] Don't laugh too much. I've had them deliver pizza to us when ice fishing. Somewhere I have a picture of the Dominos guy walking out on the ice to us. My favorite snacks are snickers and jolly ranchers with a bottle of water. I find that sandwiches are too messy. Ranger

Guest ruffhunter
Re: stand snacks 2 cold meat sandwiches (salami/ham), 2 peanut butter sandwiches, jerky, always have peanut butter granola bars. Something sweet, candybar. 2 or 3 bottles of water. hard candy. When it is really cold and only if I'm in a box blind, a hot thermos of hot chocolate and Campbell's chunky chicken and dumplings. A buddy of mine was with me and he ordered a pizza and cokes,,but it just wasn't hunting to us,,,but it hit the spot on that boring day!!
