Has anyone seen this on the news this morning?

http://news.yahoo.com/fc/world/london_bombings

As soon as I walked into the family room this morning mom was like... "look what happened" and flipped it over to CNN. 3 explosions in the subway system and 1 on a double decker bus during rush hour.

I'm SOOOO mad. I just can't understand how people could do this....... frown.giffrown.gifmad.gif

Somehow I just wasn't surprised at all. What DID surprise me was that it didn't happen here. It's coming though. Can't figure out if it's because of the G-8 conference in Scotland, the fact that the Summer Olympics locale was decided yesterday (London won) or because Britain has troops in Iraq. Of course, these murderers don't need an excuse.

I know they're saying it was bombs, but have they said whether they were planted on the trains or if they were attached to people that blew themselves up?

I'll be honest - I shed a few tears when I first saw the video of the double decker. This just brings back too many memories of 9/11. Even though it happened in London - it's hitting too close to home. As we all know..... this isn't the first and unfortunately we know it probably won't be the last. frown.gif

This is just disgusting. Little by little weather we like it or not we are killing ourselfs off. I dont understand why nor do I think I ever will, but you can believe one thing I aint going down without one heck of a fight.

May the Lord be with the dead and wounded over there and may justice be served to those responsible.

This is very sad. We all need to pull together and support England through this. Unlike one lady I heard talking about "oh that's nothing compared to what we experienced on 9-11". What a load of crap! They were attacked and lives were lost...doesn't matter how many.

Some people just don't get it. crazy.gif

I hate to see it.....

Perhaps it will wake up all of the Tony Blair / George Bush hating British and get them on board with the war on terror. Perhaps they will see that there is no end to the blood lust of the caveman mentality of Muslims.

It is time to take off the kiddy white gloves and start knocking the teeth out of some terrorists.

I'm really afraid this might force Tony Blair to pull out of Iraq due to immense pressure back home, that will basically leave us by ourselves mad.giffrown.gif

I feel so bad for them, taking out transportation is a real biggy to dispruct their lives, not to mention all the dead and hurt, what a lousy shame confused.gif

I suppose there are those who would cower when attacked by a blood thirsty religion of peace...or so called.....

If anything, it should wake the anti-war group up to the realization that the enemy will stop at nothing to kill them.

Prayers to those injured and killed and for their families.

Very sad day indeed. Just hate to see things this bad. It just seems to get worse and worse. Just makes you wonder where, when, and who will be next. We all know it isn't over and when will it be. Someone said at work tonight...."If we just weren't at war none of this would be happening!"

As bad as it is that we are at war.....It would still be happening, there just wouldn't be near the media coverage here. Just hope God watches over all those families affected by this act of cowardly terror, prayers are sent to all those involved and all those that lost that special someone! May God bless each and everyone of them!
