fisherguy
Re: shot at one hit or miss???? If the tail was down i suspect you hit her. Hed to the area you heard her crash and check throughly.
Sam16
Re: shot at one hit or miss???? I agree with fisherguy, from the way she reacted it sounded like a good hit. Check in the morning!
slugshooter
Re: shot at one hit or miss???? Did you read my earlier post about the Doe I shot Saturday. I went to the spot where I hit her at 50 yards and found no fur or blood, I headed to the spot I thought I heard her go down and had to walk a little further, she went further than I thought she did and she didn't run as straight as I thought she did either, took a wide circle to get to the spot I found her. She's probably laying out there somewhere, when you do find her trace the blood trail, if it's still there, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't take the long way around. elkoholic
Re: shot at one hit or miss???? Sounds like a good hit to me. If she kicked up it may well have been a heart shot and, if so, she should be within 50 to 100 yards. You just have to go find her.
wtnhunt
Re: shot at one hit or miss???? Have to agree with what is said above. Sounds like if she kicked up she is hit good. Should not be far. Would definitely check where you thought you heard her crash.
Rhino
Re: shot at one hit or miss???? She's hit and sounds like she's hit good too. You should recover her today.
