Guest antlers21
Has anyone used this product and if so how do you think it would work for bowhunting as far as hearing game sneeking around you?
Guest tyshe17
Re: Walkers Game Ear I have played with it while at work (we call it product knowledge) its a perk of the job. Inside the store they work well. It is the one that gives the highest sense of direction as to where the sound is coming from. However, this isnt as good as your own sense of hearing...I would think it would give you a kinda "Hey that didnt sound right...time to start looking hard!" type thing
HarvDog
Re: Walkers Game Ear I was actually sent a set of these to field test. They definitely allow you to hear things better...EVERYTHING! I found that it was very distracting, all the wind, birds, rain, any little noise. However, I am going to try them again this season. The one I had worked really well, used it turkey hunting, just hard to tell which direction the sound was coming from. The new digital ones, I hear a far better in that respect. christsavedme
Re: Walkers Game Ear My dad has one of the older originals and loves his. He has used it for about 8 seasons now and swears by it. I have never used it myself....just never had that much extra money laying around. One day I may give it a wirl just to see.
too_pointer
Re: Walkers Game Ear I don't own any Walkers, but have a pair of Radians " in the canal " Sound Amplifiers. These are much more affortable, they come with 3 different size canal plugs, and 2 batteries for each one. They are in Cabela's if you want to check them out.
