Add some spices to the liquid to increse flavor. Be sure to poke additional holes in the top of the can. Cook with indirect heat. Be careful removing the can from the bird. That liquid is hot! sureshot Posted July 14, 2005 Report Share Posted July 14, 2005 Re: Drunk chicken ideas? we always rub the chicken down with a marignade, then I cover it in tinfoil, we always do it while camping over a open fire, I have the fire on one side and chicken on the other and keep moving hot coals under the bird, takes a while but is well worth it in the end!! Once i put cajun seasoning in the beer and on the bird. Another good one i put brown sugar in it. and basted the bird with brown sugar and butter. Its a good thing to do on a sunday afternoon while suckin a few back and playing washers. Wow that sounds like more fun than working, like i am know.
