Turkeygirl
Well friends, I could use a prayer or two. Last Wednesday I got a filling done. Well I expected a tooth with a new filling to be a little sensitive but after a week it was still sensitive in a tooth next to the filling. Well today I notice that I felt like there is a small hole/pit there. I don't know if something chipped or if the dentist didn't fill it in but any hot or cold makes a sharp pain there and chewing makes my tooth sore. The pain doesn't last long but I could stick a tooth pick in the little pit and it hurt...Hopefully the dentist will see that and fix it and this will all quit. Pray they can take me earlier than next Tuesday. The 4th time I will have been to the dentist in like 4 weeks!

buckee
Re: The dentist AGAIN Sorry to hear that TG. I've been getting a bit of dental work done lately too (still a bit more to go) and my last 2 fillings are very sensative also. Especially drinking my hot coffee in the mormings. I hear, if you get a little saliva contamination in behind the filling, sometimes they will drop out. Get him to check it out good next time you go, and I hope the pain goes away soon. markyj987
Re: The dentist AGAIN tg, I had a few fillings over the last month. I haven't had anything where I feel a pit or anything, but my dentist told me that the sensitivity--even extremely sensitive areas to hot/cold usually last at least for two and sometimes as many as six weeks. AdvantageTimberLou
Re: The dentist AGAIN remember this, "be true to your teeth or they'll be false with you!" That corney saying always gets me when I think about Dentists!! Heck, this post is better than the one with inserting pennies into deer's legs!! That one will really get you thinking! Hope all goes well with your appointment.
