THIS YEAR.I'M HEADING UP TO MITCHELL ON THURSDAY AND WAS WANDERING HOW THE HUNTIN HAS BEEN SO FAR THIS YEAR.I'VE HEARD IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER THAN THE LAST FEW YEARS,BUT IT SEEMS LIKE I HEAR THAT EVERY YEAR. [/ QUOTE ] As far as #'s go we had a group of 30 when I started going and the last year I went we had 40 guys in the group... we limited out everyday... 3 birds X 30 guys = 90 birds a day... 3 birds X 40 guys = 120 birds a day... and we missed alot too ... it's waaay to much fun!!!! MUDRUNNER Posted November 9, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 Re: SOUTH DAKOTA PHESANTS IT IS A BLAST,AND WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!EVERYONE GETS PLENTY OF SHOOTING.WE EVEN BAGGED 23 RABBITS THIS YEAR.NEXT YEAR WE'RE GOING A WEEK EARLIER AND HUNTING AN EXTRA DAY IT'S EVEN SUPPOSED TO BETTER YET.OUR TOTAL WAS 150 ROOSTERS THIS YEAR IN 4 DAYS WITH 13 GUYS.
