Guest Twperdue
DON'T BUY THE BLUED MODEL!!!!!!!(unless you like rust). I bought the Optima Pro Magnum and I do like it, but I wish I had bought the stainless steel. For the price, it's pretty good, but If I had to do it over again, I probably would get the Thompson. tedicast
Re: cva\'s 50 caliber 209 magnum muzzleloader Another vote for the Encore here. I have a stainless/hardwoods .50 cal and love it.
jdickey
Re: cva\'s 50 caliber 209 magnum muzzleloader I've had the 209 for over 4 years now, no problems that are unusual. And yeah, you do have to clean it! But, I shot this guy at 142 yards; had sighted in at 200 yards using 300 grain Barnes X-Press and 150 grains of Hogdon pellets! He scored 326 B&C! too_pointer
Re: cva\'s 50 caliber 209 magnum muzzleloader They are both good guns. I bought my Encore after having some other TC's, and I liked them all. I guess you stay with what works for you too_
