dogdoc
I've been keeping the feeder filled up with chicken scratch for the turkeys. You guys probably already know this but it is a mixture of chopped corn, wheat, and milo. Seems like the deer like it also. and of course a coon posing for the camera! todd

puffy
Re: pics at the feeder.... You must have a good recipe with a secret ingredient or something. Looks like all those critters coming to your feeder like whats on the menu.

JimT
Re: pics at the feeder.... Nice pics for sure. One buck looks like he has a thick rack...Will be a good one some day for sure. Do you drive up to your feeder to fill it or use a ladder?

dogdoc
Re: pics at the feeder.... JimT----I was driving home one day from work on big trash pick up day and noticed a ladder sitting on the curb. Someone had run over the ladder--I threw it in the back of the truck and after a little hammering and reinforcing and I had a great ladder that I can just leave out at the farm. But actually I do both---drive to the feeder and use the ladder to fill it. When it gets closer to winter I will just go to pure corn but this time of year I like the smaller seeds in the chicken scratch for the young turkeys. todd
