preacherman
Probably been asked on here before, but what are your fletching colors on your arrows? Looking for a few new combinations to give to people this year, any help is always recommended! I personally shoot 2 whites and 1 orange. tedicast
Re: Fletching Colors [ QUOTE ] I personally shoot 2 whites and 1 orange. [/ QUOTE ] Me too...with orange nocks, and orange and white wraps. The first one on the left is 2 orange and one white. I wanted to see which combo I liked best. Definately can see the 2 white better. I'm gonna stick with this combo. I can follow it very well in flight.
ThethirdI
Re: Fletching Colors I use two white and one purple on vanes and two white and one blue on feathers. I am color blind so if I use anything else I can't find them in the fall leaves. I like the way blood looks on white anyway. It really stands out. dogdoc
Re: Fletching Colors [ QUOTE ] I don't use 2 colors anymore...blazers will be 3 orange, quickspins- some arrows have 3 orange, other 3 white(donated by dogdoc) having all the same color I can rotate nocks and not lose my c o c k vane..Rotating nocks really helps tighten arrow groups. I use the mark on the side of the nock to know which way to put the arrow, never have to look at it, just feel the groove...."groove is in the heart!!!!!!!!!!" [/ QUOTE ] Great minds think alike---I do the same thing Actually J.B. taught me that little trick. I always wonder what that little groove was for on one side of the nock. I use to always turn on my flashlight in the dark to make sure i put the c o c k vane down. Now I can do it in the dark! Just like J.B. suggested I'll shoot an arrow and turn the nock to figure out which feather works best in the down position. VTbowman
Re: Fletching Colors Thanks to Hunt101 I can not post the pic of mine but the colors I use are all one color for the feathers on top of a refletive wrap. I am currently sporting 3 barred reds on a yellow reflective wrap with green nocks, 3 barred yellows on green reflective wraps with a yellow nock, and 3 barred yellows on a red reflective wrap with yellow nocks. These are all on Gold Tip Traditional XT5575 shafts.

Guest tyshe17
Re: Fletching Colors I just use 3 white blazers...I dont want to be looking for my arrow in flight...that means I have dropped my bow arm. But, the white shows blood really well, and if I dont get a pass through I can see it as the deer is running off.
