I have shot a Bear Code for a few years now and nothing else. Well a buddy of mine that i shoot 3D with has got me looking at new bows and it made me realize how behind i am with the technology they put into these new bows. Theres a local place here that is having a sale on the 03' models of the AR 31's and i was just wondering if anybody knows any info on these. I shot it and i like it quite a bit but dont know if its worth the $499 they are askin. Also i was told to check out the new Diamond bows that Bowtech makes. Any info would be great... thanx

Re: AR 31\'s?

yep--i agree. Seem's kind of high for a 2 year old bow. I had one of the first AR34 models. I'm pretty sure it was 2003 when the AR line started. After I had it a couple of months the bottom limb started slipping out of the pocket. They have since corrected the problem but I had to send mine in and PSE replaced it with a 2004 model. The AR is a very sweet shooting bow---i had some accessories put on yesterday and the owner of the proshop shot it and was very impressed with the lack of hand shock and vibration. They are not the fastest bow out there but I love mine.

I think the new ones run about $599 so you'd be saving 100 bucks off a new one. This years models have adjustable cams--previous years models did not.

good luck with your choice.
