Question for the college folk.

Recommended Posts

What do you all do to stay tuned up for bow season when your in school. I will be moving up to Wilburton in August, and I don't know where I can shoot my bow at, or if I can even take it. I like to shoot my bow everyday from August through the hunting season and I am afraid that I may not get to, and therefore lose an edge in my hunting accuracy!

Just curious as to what all of you do.

Re: Question for the college folk.

well if you are living on campus they probably won't let you keep your bow there. Best bet would be to find the closest rance and see if you can store it there or somewhere near there. Also, check if the school has an archery club...not many do anymore, but some do.

Re: Question for the college folk.

My college allows you to bring your shotgun and and bow but you have to keep them at the Security office. Luckily I commute from home so what I need isat home, lol. I usually don't start shooting my bow until September and that usually occurs in the evenings after classes all day. Check things out and maybe you'll find something. Good luck!

Just curious, are you going to the Ranger school in Wannakena up in the Adirondacks? Just wondering, because my brother thought about going there and he told me about how he would have been able to keep his guns on campus as long as they were kept in a locker.
