buckbuster11
Re: My solution for the NHL Why dont they just make the puck the size of a pancake and expand the net by 5 feet?

Blue ice, and an orange blue line to make it more visible...if the bring that in i am pretty sure most Canadians will boycott the game. TreeStandBowHunter
Re: My solution for the NHL This has nothing to do with this question but you know what I am shocked at....Norway is not a big hockey country. When I went over there this past winter, I thought I was going to be walking into hockey heaven but hockey is really not that big there in Norway. My solution to hockey is simple....Don't change anything. Why change rules and regs. Everything has worked fine for years, why change now
Tominator
Re: My solution for the NHL Yep, I remember. What a joke. That one was actually worse than the red white and blue ball the ABA used way back when.

Bob LeBlanc
Re: My solution for the NHL The only rule that needs changing is restriction to the size of the equipment that the goalies are wearing. I'm reminded of a commercial...can't remember the product...where they take this beheamoth (sp?)of a guy, and stand him between the pipes. He doesn't have to move at all. We don't need the rules of the game changed...but they do need to be enforced...no exceptions. I think the game has been deteriorated by owners going after the 'biggest' skilled players they can find, as compared to going after the 'best / most' skilled players. There are lots of Kariya's and St. Louis' and Cournoyer's (remember you Habs fans?) out there. THEY are the excitement of the game...not the scoring of 10 or 12 goals. Excitement comes from the ANTICIPATION of the goal through play-making. It is the higher skilled players, many of whom have been shut-out of the game, who bring that every night. Instead, we've got these lumbering oafs, many of whom couldn't catch my 13 year old in a race, unless they grabbed ahold of him on his way by... which is how most of them are playing the game!
