Guest LDB Posted July 20, 2005 Report Share Posted July 20, 2005 This is one of the largest whitetail sets I have ever found. I picked this set up in 2003. I found the left antler first and followed the deer trail back about 50 yards into a bedding area and found the match. They were quite fresh - initially I measured them at gross 166+, just recently I re-measured and only came up with 164 1/8. When I compared scoresheets, I noticed every circumference had shrunk about 1/8 inch. It doesn't show in the photos, but the main beams are each close to 24 inches.
