Re: WalMart

I just left there.... Still nothing. I did however pic up a nice cleaning kit with something like 9-brushes and such for different Cal. I have several for .22, shotguns, .30cals, etc but this is all in one in a wood box for $15.

I also picked up some Perma blue to do some touch up. Im so ready to see broadheads, calls, and scents!

Re: WalMart

Good!

I am planning to head over to ours during my lunch "hour" tommorow, (which is more like 3 hours if need be), to go get some camping supplies and of coarse a few hunting tid bits too. LOL

Hey its not my fault they put the two activities in the same area of the store!!!! LOL

You'd be pretty darn smart to keep looking at that fishing stuff while they are making room for hunting stuff. Some of your best prices for a lot of that stuff are about to show up! grin.gif Lotsa stuff, huh?

Re: WalMart

Yeah, I went to Wal-Mart tonight, and of course as always with every store that has hunting gear, I went and checked it out. They actually had quite a few things I want to get. For example, they had a smaller internal frame back back that was camo and had an accesorie hole for attaching after market things to it. This was only $20. They also had Muzzy broadheads, releases, rain suit, bow hangers, knives, and numerous other things I wouldn't mind buying. But, of course, I habe no money and couldn't buy anything. Seem like they always have things I need or want for cheap when I have no money.

Re: WalMart

Our Wal-Mart "transformed" last night as well.

I bought me a new Tru-Glo 4 pin sight for 15$ and a bow sling for 6$. I am waiting on them to put the hard cases out.

One bad thing about my Wally World is that they do not carry Realtree, they carry THAT other brand......

Re: WalMart

Our Wal-mart transformed about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

A buddy of mine that shoots 3-D with me is the manager of the sporting goods. He makes sure he gets a little head start on the hunting gear.

Although, this week, they finally devoted a whole aisle to it.

Re: WalMart

I was in Pennsylvania over this week for a funeral of an Aunt. I had to do some stress relief shopping so I went to the Walmart there...talk about disappiontment frown.gif

I asked the guy where the hunting stuff was and he said: "We have it in but we dont have it out yet". smirk.gif

So on my way back home thursday afternoon I stopped by the Gander Mountain.

Came home with my Remington Weathermaster in 270, Nikon Prostaff Scope 3-9x40 silver, Leopold base and rings cool.gif

My local Walmart where I work has only one half of an isle in hunting stuff so far.

I have an employee discount card waiting to get burned up too!!! grin.gif

:::I just thought of something...LOL:::

The place where i was is a town called Blawnox,PA.

As a bowhunter....this has deep meaning to me...LOL

My Nocks were quite Blaw when i found no hunting gear on display frown.gifgrin.gif

P.s. dont mind the guy behind the keyboard right now...he just got done working a 12 hour shift on his first day back to work tongue.gif

Yeah...I was asking about an inflatable boat but not really for fishing. More just for hangin' out on the lake.

BTW...just got back from Walmart and they were starting to stock for hunting. WOO HOO! grin.gif

I went to Ankeney,IA wal-mart. All of the clothing except some hats was the other brand camo. It was ugly. I even saw the impossible. A Hunter's Spec Product in the bs brand. I not only like realtree for it's effectiveness they have honest ad's that do not try to sell product by saying our camo works because we enjoy hunting.
