VtBowhunter
Re: Must See !! Pitbull versus a Porcupine I'll bet that poor pooch didn't survive that one. I've seen dogs will a quarter of the number of quills die from quills causing problems after a few days.

VH you won't catch any grief from me. Some people in town have a pit bull and two other similar dogs. the city clerks son was working for the city readin meters and them things were so close to attacking him and probably killing him it wasn't even funny. Now the city has a new ordinace banning them dogs and similar breeds and all dogs have to be registered. Pit bulls are bad news! I guess a few can be good but, to me any pit bull is a mean one. buckee
Re: Must See !! Pitbull versus a Porcupine That is absolutely incredible. It goes to show you what motivates a pitbull, how much pain they can withstand and just keep on sluggin. Kinda scarey when you think about it. slugshooter
Re: Must See !! Pitbull versus a Porcupine Man, that porcupine unloaded on his ****. Talking about pit bulls, anyone remember me mentioning this neighbors pit bull that got in a fight with one of our other neighbors big brown whatever it is dog and got his throat tore open. Well, that dog came real close to getting shot last week. I was out cutting the grass and ny fiance was heading down the road for her run, I had seen the dog earlier but thought he was gone, after awhile I looked up and saw my fiance talking with someone who lives in the neighborhood, some older guy, don't know who he is, and eventually she went on her way. Well, when she got back I was sitting on the porch and she said " Did you see what that dog did to me?" I said "What, that nasty brown and white pit bull?" She said the dog was following her when she started walking down the road and took a snap at her backside, he came up short and just ended up brushing her and didn't actually get a bite in. I tell you what, if I see that dog personally take a swipe at her or actually bite her, I've got a .45 ACP Federal Hydra-Shock with his name on it. IowaDeerHunter
Re: Must See !! Pitbull versus a Porcupine Slugshooter, I would do the same, or my dad would. He wouldn't be so kind and use a pistol, lets just put it that way. If that dog was chasing or attacking someone Iknew or anyone, he is getting soething that will drop him right away, not that a pistol wouldn't. What was that pit bull doing out anyways, why wasn't he chained up or in a kennel?

slugshooter
Re: Must See !! Pitbull versus a Porcupine [ QUOTE ] What was that pit bull doing out anyways, why wasn't he chained up or in a kennel? [/ QUOTE ] Thats the kicker. Those worthless people let that dog run all over the place, regardless of the leash law in this county and the fact that dogs aren't even ALLOWED in this neighborhood. The guy that owns all the land came out here a couple weeks ago and asked them if the pit bull and the two beagles were theirs. They said, "We don't know who those dogs belong to" Let's just say the landowner ain't playing with a full deck. Our septic tank got full a couple months ago and wastewater started backing up into our tubs, he came out, pried the lid off the tank and said it was backing up not because the tank was full, but because the pipe was blocked, well duh, the pipe wouldn't have been blocked if the danged tank hadn't been full of turds. I've got backup though. One of my Deputy Sheriff friends told me that if the dog is acting in an aggressive or threatening manner then I have every right to defend myself. In fact, I think I hear him growling outside my window right now. Better get locked and cocked!!
