TreeStandBowHunter
I can't belive I don't know the answer to this but I really don't. When they pick who is on the USA team and Canada team, do they go by citizenship or teams? Example would be.......we all know Canadians play on US teams and vice versa. Let's take Boston for example. Winter Olympics are coming up and Team USA decides to take a player from Boston. If that player is from Canada, would they take him or would he go on the Canadian team.....saying that he was chosen for the olympics. I have always wondered this. If they do in fact use citizenship as the primary way, wouldn't that be weird if two team mates on the same team play against each other in the olympics

muggs
Re: Olympic Hockey question Muff's right, if you remember Brett Hull played for team USA, even though he was born in Canada, he had dual citizenship and choose to play for the U.S. Why you ask? That's anyones guess
