ranchand99
I want either a Rossi slug gun or a H&R.They are both single shots.I am leaning towards the Rossi because it has a ported barrel, and tru-glo sights. Not to mention it is only $145 at wally world.Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance. AJ
Re: Slug Gun I would lean towards the H&R Ultra Slug Hunter. It's twice the gun and allows you to get extra 10 ga barrels for it (assuming you get a 12 ga). If you get a 20 ga USH, you can get any shotgun or muzzleloader barrel. archerjg
Re: Slug Gun I have the H&R Ultra Slugmaster and I would highly recommend it. It is very very nice shooting gun and very accurate. Archerjg

johnf
Re: Slug Gun I would go with the NEF/H&R. They are twice the gun as the Rossi for just a few bucks more. There are also some combo's that are a pretty good deal. NEF 12 ga ML combo Riffled NEF
Guest deldeer
Re: Slug Gun the h&r ultra deluxe is the way to go!!!!! i have the 12, my pop has the 20, both are real tack drivers!!! longest kill i had with mine was 160 yards using the 2 3/4 fed. barnes expanders!!! yes we measured it.. not a guess.. the best thing to do is go by the feel if you can't shoot them, pick them up, throw it up to your cheek, see which one feels better, also i think all the h&r's come with the scope mount on them.. good luck
ranchand99
Re: Slug Gun I think you guys have convinced me to go with the H&R.It doesn't look as good as the rossi, but it does have a heavier, longer barrel, and scope mounts. It costs a little more, but I guess it's worth it...if it's that accurate. Thanks guys! WNY_Whitetailer
Re: Slug Gun I vote for the H&R Ultra Slugger also...I have one in 12GA and I love it. It is heavy but not too bad to tote around.
