He was not my first deer but my first "wall hanger". I have been deer hunting for 6 years and he is the third buck that I've shot. My first buck was a very small 6 point that no matter how much my friends tease me about, I'm still proud of and have a antler mount along with the 8 point that I shot three years ago - he scored 108". I shot the buck in the picture with my T/C Encore w/ a 260 Winchester Platinum Tip. He was my first deer w/ a muzzle loader though! The DNR officer said that he was only 3.5 years old.
