loggy bayou loggy light... buy the climbing aid if you dont want to put your arms around and hug the tree while you climb... or summit viper! while we are talking about it... i learned to climb on a tss with no climbing aid ... just the platform. anyone else use a stand like that? until you get good it can cause some arm irritation lol!

Re: treestands

I used a Loggy, without the climbing aid for 2 seasons. What a difference the climbing aid makes. I upgraded to a Summit Broadhead Backpacker this past season. Best move I ever made. Way more comfortable, stable, and easier to use than my old Loggy.

I also have a few Gorilla Kong fixed stands, and a King Kong fixed stand, and a Gorrilla Ladder stand.

i have 3 summits, i recently received a viper x5, i use to use a api until it was stolen, got my first summit and stuck with them, fairly light, quiet, comfortable.

Re: treestands

i use an api bow hunters stand but befor that i used an alumi lite"that thing was not light at all. i like my api but i have found if you take a fat belt like off a fanny pack and attach it it the botttom section of your stand it takes the weight off of your shoulders and puts it on your hips like you dont even have anything on your back!! works great for those long treks into the woods

I agree, Lone Wolfs are sweet! I like Gorilla too though.

Lone Wolf and API are probably two of the best on the market.
