tedicast
Well... you started off with a great gun. You won't be dissapointed. I am shooting 2, 50 grain 777 pellets, and 295 grain clad hollow point powerbelts. I shoot groups that are right at 1" at 100 yards. Good luck. Don't be afraid to try any of the bullets out there. What works in one gun, doesn't always work in another.
ranchand99
Re: new to black powder I would go with the powerbelts myself. If you want a sabot go with the T/C brand. You can get it a BPS.Here's the link.Hope I helped. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.T...arTarget=browse
too_pointer
Re: new to black powder I use the same as tedicast in my Encore with great results. I myself, prefer a full size bullet instead if the pistol bullets and sabots, but both will work. which ever one shoots the best out of your gun is what is most important Welcome to the forums also !! too_pointer
