fisherguy
Re: whats the limit for whitetails in your county? right where i am it is one buck tag over the counter, you can apply to make that one buck tag and either sex tag. you can then purchase extra doe tags that are available to a maximum of three per person. So the total is 4 deer(any season, weapon combination) and it can either be four does, or three does and one buck.

Rhino
Re: whats the limit for whitetails in your county? Could be a little confusing here this year too if you hunt open public land. A few new changes were made that threw out the ol' KISS concept. For private land it's 3 bucks (4point or better) and 3 does; however we can take 2 additional does with a bow. The daily bag limit is 1 legal buck and 1 doe. Also on private lands only, a youth hunter (15 years old or younger) can kill 1 buck with any size hardened antler. That youth's other 2 bucks must be legal bucks. For public land the same bag limits apply except regardless of the age of the hunter, all bucks must be legal bucks and there's only 2 days (Dec. 18 & 19) during the open gun season when does are legal. The rest of gun season (the other 39 days) its legal bucks only on open public land. Does are legal during the 2 primitive weapon seasons and bow season. Wildlife Management areas have their own special rules that are different from one to the next.

archerjg
Re: whats the limit for whitetails in your county? 12 per archery, muzzleloader, and shotgun seasons in my county and 36 total. 1 per day 2 bucks and 10 does. you have to take 2 does before you can take a second buck. JimT
Re: whats the limit for whitetails in your county? Regular archery/gun is one deer, either sex if you get drawn for an any deer permit. One buck only if you do not. Expanded archery is one buck, and as many does as you wish providing you buy the over the counter tags. Sounds really great...but the hunting is pretty hard here. maddhunter
Re: whats the limit for whitetails in your county? Archery-4 deer and only 2 may be bucks Gun-1 buck and 1 doe Black Powder-1 buck and 1 doe Special antlerless- 1 doe Definition of antlerless/doe- any deer not having 3 inches of antler on either side. Wish they would change that, to many button bucks and small spikes being killed under the antlerless description.

Tominator
Re: whats the limit for whitetails in your county? Depends on the county. Some counties allow 3. You're only allowed one buck a year, regardless of county. There are 4 or 5 urban zones in Ohio too. There you can take an additional 4 antlerless deer.
