Rhino
I saw that the futures price on oil set a new record high today at $61.57. If history repeats itself like it did about 3 weeks ago we may see another $.10 to $.20 spike at the pump again in a few days. You might want to top off the tank now. I did today at $2.13/gallon. HuntingInMaine
Re: Fill er up I wish I could get it for $2.13 a gallon! We are paying about $2.32 a gallon right now and I don't know if I can afford to drive much longer if it spikes again. Thank God I have a car that is good on gas, my other half is paying a fortune to keep his truck gassed up.
Tominator
Re: Fill er up Wife paid $2.14 the other day. My dad told me he found it for $1.96 last week.
Squirrelhunter91
Re: Fill er up The other day before we left for our cabin upstate, the local gas station sign said $2.34 for Regular. We came back today it was up to $2.52!
tedicast
Re: Fill er up I filled up at $2.51.9 on Friday. It's enough to make you sick when you see that gas gauge falling toward the E
Shaun_300
Re: Fill er up It's pretty expensive here too! It's 89.7 cents/liter. Up at the lake its around 95 and I'm not too sure what it is downtown Ottawa. It cost me $37 to fill my Cavalier on Friday night.... ....just to give you an idea what that gibberish means for you folks south of the border.... 89.7 cents/liter converted to U.S gallons and U.S Currency equals out to $2.87/gallon My Grandpa has a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD with a 6.0L V8 in it, he filled up from a half a tank and it was $57!! Guest Andrea
Re: Fill er up That's nice...just when the prices were starting to take a dip down here. Sittin at $2.25 a gal right now. After Hurricane Dennis came thru...there was NO GAS in this part of Florida. The International Waterway was too full of debris for the tanker ships to bring us the fuel. Lots of people had to miss work cause they just couldn't get there!!!

Adjam5
Re: Fill er up 2.35 here , filled up the Silverado...$52.00 Ya hear about the bear that attacked a bio diesel vehicle because of the smell of the grease? The guy uses french fry and chinese food grease to mix with diesel for fuel. DEC recomended that he leave a ballon filled with ammonia by the fuel tank. If he pops it , it will be a unpleasant smell and disassociate it with food smell. It happened in way upstate NY.
