Huntr104
Well after reading the little manual and watching the instructional dvd. I think I have the basics down. What type of adjustments have you all made if any? What position do you keep the Distance knob? I set it up in the house to try it and most of the pics were white washed. Is this because I was too close? (within 10-12 feet)? Thanks

KTMMIKE
Re: Got my new Leaf River Cam. Have a question? Huntr104, Once you have the cam outside the pics won't be white. It's just because you are inside with some light & possibly too close. Also if you are viewing them through the screen on the cam they look a little white as compared to viewing them on the computer or TV. Stock settings work good. I keep the distance setting set to the max. I also have resolution & quality set on high but that takes up more space on the memory card. Huntr104
Re: Got my new Leaf River Cam. Have a question? Thanks. I put the pics on the computer and most were white wash. I did notice that the one it took during daylight without the flash looked fine. What is the factory setting for resolution? I have a 64 card I put into the camera. I'm going to get a larger card and a card reader so I don't have to keep bringing the camera home to view the pics. Thanks again
wtnhunt
Re: Got my new Leaf River Cam. Have a question? Prettymuch set mine at the defaults to start out. Have it on the higher resolution and have turned down the distance just a little, was getting too many bunny pics. Also set the quick shots to 2 a while back. KTMMIKE
Re: Got my new Leaf River Cam. Have a question? Yeah, you'll get pretty good pics with the factory settings. Check out dogdoc's pics. I think he has his set on the factory settings.
dogdoc
Re: Got my new Leaf River Cam. Have a question? make sure you have your flash setting on automatic. when i got mine the first set of pics I got were all washed out. when set at automatic the lightning flash symbol should be blinking when the unit is turned on. todd
Huntr104
Re: Got my new Leaf River Cam. Have a question? Thanks again for the advice. I'll be putting it out this weekend and in a few weeks I'll put up some pics of a few nice Rhode Island bucks. I have a couple pics of them with my 35mm Deer cam. It'll be easier to get the pics up with the digital.
