What does you license cost?

What does a license cost everyone?

In Wisconsin, the resident charge $25.00

I compare it to a golf round that costs more than that for only 4-5 hours of playing.

Or, compare it to marriage that costs way more for not always the same enjoyment. tongue.gif

I think that's a pretty good deal. grin.gif

Re: What does you license cost?

In Maine:

Combination Hunting & Fishing (16 & older) $39.00

Archery Hunting (16 & older) $22.00

Expanded Archery (Antlerless Deer) $13.00

Expanded Archery (Antlered Deer) $33.00

Fall Turkey $13.00

Spring Turkey $21.00

Any Deer Permit $5.00 (I think, haven't applied yet)

Cost of my Maine licenses for one season: About $150

Following a fresh blood trail: Priceless!

In Michigan, the archery licenses and the firearm licenses went up $1.00 this year.

Archery is now= $15.00

Firearm is now= $15.00

I think doe permits go for $7.00 each or so, not sure on that one but close to that. Can be bought over the counter for your area.

the doe permits went up this year also crazy.gif...they are now $10.....is it me or does the cost of a license seem to go up $1 every year here?? confused.gif i guess it could be worse....we still probloby pay less than alot of other states

Resident Crossbow License $12.00

Re: What does you license cost?

Your right, each year its going up but look at all the DNR is doing in our state!! smile.gif (that was meant to be sarcastic)

While right at this moment they are out counting deer poop so they can estimate the large herd of deer we have in the state!! smile.gif

I heard the farmers might not like the doe permit increase as most farmers want as many of them removed as possible, they think the $3.00 will hurt the sales. Time will tell!!

Re: What does you license cost?

I paid $48.55 for my Mississippi sportsmans license. That includes the state waterfowl stamp and saltwater fishing license which are extra charges that preacherman didn't include in his license. With that license and a federal waterfowl stamp I can hunt or fish for anything in this state.

Nonresidents really take on the chin here but it is over the counter.

NR All game hunting (ages 19 and over) - $300 (archery/primitive weapon permits and turkey permits are extra)

NR Youth All Game Hunting (ages 16, 17, & 18) - $110 (archery/primitive weapon permits and turkey permits are also extra)

(Youth Hunters under 16 years of age aren't required to buy a license.)

NR Archery/Primitive Weapon Permit - $75

Deer Permit - $5

NR Spring Turkey Permit - $20

NR State Duck Stamp - $15

NR Freshwater Fishing - $50

NR Saltwater Fishing - $30

There is also a Nonresident 7-Day All Game Hunting license available for $125 but the NR still has to buy an extra permit for Deer, Archery/Primitive Weapon and Spring turkey hunting if he wants to hunt those seasons. Another available option is a 3-Day All Game -Archery/Primitive Weapon license for $125 for a 3 day hunt during the archery or primative weapon seasons.

In addition to all that are agents fees and processing fees that can add up to another $10 or so depending on what additonal permits a NR buys.
