Okbwhtr
Reflex Bighorn from Cabelas for around $200.00 is good buy for the money! Thats a kit bow also. Hoyt Magntec is little more exspensive but not to bad.
horst
Re: Good First Bow? Jimt,Id take him to the pro shop and let him try out several different bows before deciding on one.Everyones got there own preferences and he will know then which one fits him the best and he likes the best. Another thing he could keep in mind is there are a lotta really good used bows around anymore.I was looking at a used Mathews the other day which a couple years ago was a 700$ bow.I could get it now for 300$ set up.I havent bought a new bow in 6 yrs but every year I buy a different used one for a couple hundred bucks or less and try out.Ive had some pretty nice ones to for just a little money.
